Originally from Columbus, Indiana, I studied art history and design at Duke University. I opened Emily Holmes Design, a wholesale stained glass studio, in New Jersey in 2005. 

In 2009, I relocated to a small island on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and have continued my love of making handmade glass, jewelry and art. I love light and color, and I hope that shines through in everything I make.
