Emily Holmes is an artist and designer based in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. A recipient of a 2024 NC Artist Grant, her work explores color, light, and form through stained glass, mixed media, and painting. She creates small-scale objects and images that feel luminous, tactile, and slightly surreal, often inspired by shifting landscapes, coastal structures, and imagined characters.

In addition to her art practice, Emily has spent over a decade working as a design strategist and facilitator, helping organizations navigate complex challenges using human-centered design. That experience continues to inform her studio work, particularly her interest in perception, pattern, and interpretation.

She is the founder of Curious Consulting, where she offers creative workshops, courses, and consulting that help individuals and teams think more visually and work more creatively.
